StudyGroupIt has just finished its first crowdfunding campaign. Although we did not reach our campaign’s goal, I believe that this first attempt at crowdfunding was very successful in what it taught us about this fairly new form of fund raising. I will later share some thoughts and lessons on what we have learned.

Let me start by giving our sincerest thanks to the following StudyGroupIt crowdfunding supporters:

Tom Dykstra, MBA, CFPIM – Principal Consultant for Cayenne Consulting

“SGI Study-Group Facilitator” Sponsorship Status

Tom is located in Tampa, Florida. I had the pleasure of working closely with Tom on the development of StudyGroupIt’s business plan. If you are in need of professional consulting services that can help you meet your organization’s goals, then Tom is your man! He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely becomes an extension of your team. Thank you for believing in StudyGroupIt Tom!

Akira Hirai, Founder & CEO of Cayenne Consulting, LLC

“SGI Study-Group Facilitator” Sponsorship Status

With over 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship, management, business planning, financial analysis, software engineering, operations, and decision analysis, Akira has the breadth and depth of experience needed to quickly understand entrepreneurs’ businesses and craft the most suitable solutions. Cayeene Consulting has the same simple mission; “To help entrepreneurs get their act together before they talk to investors.”

We truly appreciate Cayenne Consulting’s support!

Jeffrey Kaufman,

“Leading Learner” Status

Jeff has been part of the entrepreneurial and startup community for over 20 years. Jeff serves as a mentor and advisor to many entrepreneurial start-up companies as part of the Arizona Center for Innovation (part of the University of Arizona) and Gangplank Tucson.

Thank you for your help Jeff!

 Jennifer H.

“Early Adopter” Status

Jenn you were one of SGI’s first supporters. Help from our family and friends is very special, and I want you, Tom, Mya and the little-one on the way to know how much we appreciate your help.

Thank you so much!

StudyGroupIt also wants to thank a host of additional family, friends and other supports who have requested to remain anonymous! Thank you for your love, support and belief that SGI can change the world of education.
